Job Title: Cost Accountant
Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Summary
- The Cost Accountant will support the finance function by providing accurate cost analysis, budgeting, reporting, and inventory valuation.
- This role ensures the integrityof cost-related financial data and supports operational and strategic decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update standard costing models and cost allocation processes.
- Perform cost variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
- Conduct inventory costing and reconciliation, including WIP.
- Prepare landed cost calculations for imported materials.
- Analyze production costs, waste, and efficiency metrics.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports.
- Support financial statement preparation in line with IFRS.
- Support close processes related to cost accruals and adjustments.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audits.
- Perform Ad-hoc tasks as delegated.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- ICAN/ACCA is an added advantage.
- 3 - 5 years experience with minimum 2 years in cost accounting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- Proficiency in ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Manufacturing Industry experience is an added advantage.
