We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Digital & Email Marketer (Product Growth & Revenue Performance)

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Purpose

  • The Digital & Email Marketer is responsible for driving measurable business growth through digital channels by generating qualified leads, improving customer acquisition, and contributing directly to revenue.
  • This role is highly performance-driven and target-based, requiring a disciplined, data-led professional who can translate marketing activities into clear commercial outcomes.
  • The role also ensures strong alignment between marketing execution and sales results, with a clear focus on accountability and continuous performance improvement.

Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Customer Acquisition:

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to generate qualified leads across multiple channels
  • Manage paid and organic campaigns to drive high-quality traffic and conversions
  • Continuously optimize campaigns to improve cost per lead (CPL) and acquisition efficiency
  • Ensure all marketing efforts are aligned to clearly defined lead and acquisition targets

Email Marketing & Conversion:

  • Design and execute email campaigns focused on lead nurturing and conversion
  • Build automated workflows to move prospects through the sales funnel effectively
  • Segment audiences to ensure targeted, relevant, and high-converting communication
  • Optimize email performance through testing and continuous improvement

Revenue Contribution & Sales Alignment:

  • Work closely with Sales/Business Development teams to ensure marketing-generated leads convert to revenue
  • Align campaigns with sales priorities and revenue targets
  • Track and report on marketing-attributed revenue and pipeline contribution
  • Support conversion optimization initiatives to improve lead-to-customer conversion rates

Campaign Performance & Optimization:

  • Plan, execute, and continuously improve digital campaigns based on performance data
  • Identify underperforming campaigns and implement corrective actions quickly
  • Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to improve results across all channels
  • Ensure all campaigns are results-driven, measurable, and optimized for ROI

Analytics, Reporting & Accountability:

  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics including:
    • Leads generated
    • Conversion rates
    • Cost per acquisition (CPA)
    • Revenue contribution
  • Maintain clear and accurate reporting on campaign performance and customer engagement
  • Provide weekly and monthly performance reports with actionable insights
  • Ensure full visibility of marketing impact on business outcomes

Continuous Improvement & Performance Management:

  • Take ownership of performance gaps and implement structured improvement actions
  • Apply data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes
  • Maintain a high level of accountability for meeting defined targets
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Performance Expectations (KPIs & Targets)
This role operates under a strict performance management framework, with clear expectations to address the following critical areas:
Lead Generation Targets:

  • Generate a consistent volume of qualified leads from digital channels (monthly targets defined)
  • Achieve agreed cost per lead (CPL) benchmarks
  • Ensure leads meet quality standards for conversion.

Customer Acquisition & Conversion Targets:

  • Improve lead-to-customer conversion rates
  • Deliver measurable growth in customer acquisition numbers
  • Support Sales in achieving conversion and pipeline targets.

Revenue Contribution Targets:

  • Demonstrate direct and traceable revenue impact from marketing activities
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly revenue targets
  • Improve marketing ROI across all campaigns.

Campaign Performance & Reporting Targets:

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and transparent reporting on all campaigns
  • Deliver weekly performance updates and monthly reports
  • Ensure all marketing activities are data-backed and performance-driven.

Key Performance Improvement Focus Areas
To address prior performance gaps, success in this role will require:

  • Consistent generation of qualified leads from digital channels

Qalifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related fields
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in digital and email marketing
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable results in lead generation and revenue growth
  • Experience working in target-driven, performance-managed environments.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in:
    • Email marketing and automation tools (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot)
    • Digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
    • Analytics tools (Google Analytics, CRM systems)
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Conversion optimization
    • Sales funnel management
    • Campaign performance tracking.
