Job Title: Accountant (Mid-level)
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Major Responsibilties
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and company budgets
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial accuracy
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Track property income, expenses, and investment performance
- Support audits and provide necessary financial documentation
- Monitor financial transactions related to property sales, rent, and maintenance
- Provide financial insights to support business decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- 3 - 5 years accounting experience (experience in real estate is an advantage)
- Professional certification (ICAN is a plus
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
