We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: City Merchant, Acquisition - Eco Coin

Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and manage a team of Merchant Acquisition Executives
• Define and execute city-level acquisition strategies and target segments
• Drive large-scale merchant onboarding across key business clusters
• Monitor team performance and productivity metrics to ensure targets are met
• Establish strategic partnerships with local business associations and aggregators
• Ensure high merchant activation, engagement, and retention
• Handle escalations and maintain strong merchant satisfaction levels
• Collaborate with central marketing teams to execute localized campaigns
• Forecast targets and manage city-level performance (including P&L where applicable)

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Achievement of city-wise merchant acquisition targets
• Growth of active merchant base
• Team productivity (acquisition per executive)
• Revenue and transaction volume from the city
• Cost per acquisition (CPA)
• Merchant churn rate

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in sales or operations (fintech experience preferred)
• Proven experience managing teams (minimum of 5–10 members)
• Strong leadership and execution capabilities
• Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills
• Deep understanding of the local business ecosystem in Abuja or Lagos
• Ability to drive results in a fast-paced, field-driven environment.
