Job Title: Pastry Chef

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Preparing Desserts & Baked Goods:

• Create cakes, pastries, bread, cookies, and specialty desserts
• Follow recipes and develop new ones
• Ensure consistent taste, texture, and presentation

Menu Planning & Creativity:

• Design dessert menus
• Experiment with flavors, ingredients, and decoration styles
• Adapt recipes based on trends or customer preferences

Kitchen Management

• Supervise junior bakers or kitchen assistants
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Manage inventory (flour, sugar, butter, chocolate, etc.)

Quality Control:

• Check freshness and quality of ingredients
• Ensure all products meet presentation and taste standards.

Skills Required:

• Baking and pastry-making expertise
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Time management (especially under pressure)
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene
• Teamwork and leadership skills.
