Job Title: Micro-Credit Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a diligent and results-oriented Micro Credit Officer to support the growth of our loan portfolio by identifying, assessing, and managing credit opportunities for micro and small-scale clients.
• The role requires strong field engagement, credit analysis, and client relationship management to ensure high repayment performance and portfolio quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and onboard eligible microfinance clients (individuals and small businesses)
• Conduct client visits, business assessments, and credit appraisals
• Experience in grassroots lending and group/cluster loan management
• Deep understanding of micro-market dynamics and customer acquisition
• Strong recovery and portfolio quality management skills

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in microfinance, credit, or field sales
• Basic knowledge of credit analysis and loan management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
