Job Title: Mid / Senior Sales Personnel

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a results-driven Mid–Senior Sales Executive with strong experience in fintech, payments, and digital financial services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, acquiring new clients, and managing strategic partnerships across cross-border payments, payment service providers (PSPs), and payment gateway solutions.
  • This role requires a commercially minded professional with a proven ability to close deals, manage enterprise relationships, and navigate complex sales cycles within the financial services ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business development and revenue growth across payment solutions, including cross-border payments and gateway services
  • Identify, prospect, and onboard new clients (SMEs, corporates, and enterprise clients)
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, fintechs, and merchants
  • Present and sell tailored payment solutions to meet client needs
  • Collaborate with product, compliance, and operations teams to ensure seamless client onboarding
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the payments ecosystem
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates for management

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in fintech, payments, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Cross-border payments
    • Payment Service Providers (PSPs)
    • Payment gateways
    • Merchant acquiring
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience managing B2B and enterprise clients
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage long and complex sales cycles
  • High level of commercial awareness and strategic thinking
