Eye Foundation Hospital Improves eye care across Nigeria and Africa  by offering comprehensive training programs for eye care professionals through the Kunle Hassan Eye Foundation Acadenty professionals through the Kunle Hassan (KHEFA). We are officially accredited by the National Post-graduate Medical College and the West Africa College of Surgeons to train Ophthalmologists and sub-specialists in Ophthalmology.

Job Title: Ophthalmic Fellow (Ophthalmologist)

Location: Ijebu Imushin, Ogun 
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting Line: Supervising Consultant and Medical Director at the location of assignment

Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmologist who is proficient in using state-of-the-art ophthalmic equipment for the diagnosis and management of eye diseases.
  • This doctor will be responsible for running Ophthalmology Clinics and surgeries.
  • Responsibilities range from simple tasks, such as dally patient care in the clinic, to coordinating outreach programs, teaching Resident Doctors, and performing advanced procedures like cataract and other eye surgeries.

Requirements

  • MBBS Degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-residency training.
  • A license to practice ophthalmology in Nigeria.
  • Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons and/or National Postgraduate Medical College or equivalent qualification such as the FRCS or FACS.
