We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mortgage Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Mortgage Officer with hands-on experience in NHF mortgage processing and working with the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), including exposure to MRIEF-related mortgage structures.
  • The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of mortgage documentation, loan processing, and client advisory within the Nigerian housing finance system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process NHF mortgage applications from initiation to disbursement
  • Liaise with Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) for approvals and follow-ups
  • Guide clients on eligibility for the National Housing Fund (NHF)
  • Manage documentation, verification, and compliance processes
  • Support mortgage advisory services to clients
  • Ensure timely processing and excellent client experience.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years’ experience handling NHF mortgage processes
  • Direct experience with FMBN documentation and procedures
  • Exposure to MRIEF or similar mortgage financing structures
  • Strong understanding of Nigerian mortgage systems
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple applications efficiently.
