Job Title: QA / QC Manager
Location: Mowe, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Purpose
- To ensure that all soya bean products meet required quality, safety, and regulatory standards from raw material intake to finished product distribution.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance System:
- Develop and implement Quality Management Systems aligned with ISO 22000 and HACCP
- Establish SOPs for all production and quality processes
- Ensure full traceability of raw materials and finished goods
Quality Control Operations:
- Supervise raw material inspection (soya beans quality checks)
- Monitor in-process quality parameters (moisture, protein, oil content)
- Approve or reject finished products based on standards
Laboratory Management:
- Oversee lab testing and analysis
- Ensure calibration of testing equipment
- Validate test results and maintain records
Food Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance withNOP, EU,FIPSand export standards
- Manage food safety audits and certifications
- Implement hygiene and sanitation programs
Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze quality trends and implement corrective actions
- Lead root cause analysis for defects and complaints
- Drive process improvement initiatives
Team Leadership:
- Train and supervise QA/QC team
- Build quality awareness across departments
Qualifications
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or HND with 7-10 years experience.
