Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of technology solutions that support port and terminal operations.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable systems, integrating enterprise platforms, and driving digital transformation initiatives within logistics, maritime, or heavy operations environments.

Qualifications

  • Must have at least a Bachelor’s degree (minimum of 2nd Class Upper) or HND (Upper Credit) in any of the following
  • Computer Science
  • Computer software/Computer Systems Engineering
  • Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Information SystemsInformation Technology

Experience:

  • Should have at least 10 years of relevant experience in Software development and a strong set of programming skills.

Required skills and knowledge:

  • ASP.NET in VB.NET WCF language
  • HTML, CSS, and JavaScript / JQuery
  • XML, JSON
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL Server queries and T-SQL programming
  • Quick troubleshooting abilities
  • Document application process for future maintenance and upgrades

Other preferences:

  • Web services .NET knowledge
  • Knowledge of Team Foundation Server (client side).
