We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Home Economics Teacher

Location: Lugbe, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons tailored to meet diverse learning needs.
• Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that promote critical thinking and creativity.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through regular tests, assignments, and feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student development.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Should have basic knowledge of the current vocational subjects under Home Economics.

General Qualifications

• A relevant Degree in the subject or a related discipline from a recognised institution.
• 2+ years relevant work experience.
• Possession of the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) Certification is an added advantage
• Relevant years of proven teaching experience
• Demonstrated success in designing and delivering high-quality instructional programs.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
