Job Description
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Management Intern to support ourclients sourcing and purchasing operations.
- The ideal candidate will assist in vendor coordination, order management, and procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Source products directly from Balogun Market and nearby suppliers
- Identify reliable vendors and compare prices, quality, and availability
- Negotiate prices and ensure cost-effective purchasing
- Place and track orders to ensure timely delivery
- Physically inspect goods to ensure quality standards are met
- Liaise with suppliers, and logistics partners
- Handle order pickups, exchanges, and issue resolution when necessary
- Maintain records of purchases, vendors, and pricing
- Provide regular updates on market trends, pricing, and availability.
Requirements
- Willingness to work primarily in the field (markets and vendor locations)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Smart, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Basic knowledge of pricing, fabrics, or fashion items is an advantage
- Must reside in Lagos with easy access to Balogun Market.
