Job Title: Cashier
Location: Ologolo, Lekki - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilties
- Greet customers and provide friendly, courteous service.
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve.
- Process and receive payments from customers according to their preferred method of payment.
- Up-sell and Cross-sell product items to drive sales.
- Issue payment receipts for transactions made
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve customer complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
- Ensure that the checkout area is clean, well-stocked, and free from clutter.
- Follow all cash handling procedures and policies, including verifying the accuracy of currency, and credit card payments.
- Count the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
- Follow and achieve the company’s goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Comply with all procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
