Job Title: Sales Executive – WAC (West Africa Cargo)
Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Role Overview
- APMDC is seeking to engage a high-performing and results-driven Sales Executive for its WAC operations.
- This role is designed for a seasoned professional with a strong background in logistics sales, capable of driving revenue growth, expanding client portfolios, and positioning APMDC as a preferred logistics partner within the region.
- The Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and delivering tailored logistics solutions across sea freight, air freight, and cargo operations.
- The ideal candidate must possess strong industry knowledge and a proven ability to convert leads into sustainable business.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business development and revenue generation for WAC operations
- Identify and secure new clients within shipping, forwarding, and cargo sectors
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business
- Promote APMDC’s sea freight, air freight, and logistics solutions
- Prepare and present commercial proposals and service offerings
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure efficient service delivery
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs
Key Requirements (Strictly Required)
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline
- Proven experience in logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding sales
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Sea Freight Operations
- Air Freight Operations
- Freight Forwarding Processes
- Experience in cargo handling or cargo sales is a strong advantage
- Demonstrated ability to close deals and drive revenue growth
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- High level of professionalism and market awareness
Preferred Profile:
- Existing network within logistics, shipping, or import/export sectors
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and commercially astute
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
