Job Title: Panel Beater (Automotive Body Repair Technician)

Job Summary
- The successful candidate will be responsible for restoring damaged vehicle body structures to OEM standards using approved panel beating and body repair techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle body damage and determine appropriate repair methods
- Perform panel beating, dent removal, reshaping, and alignment of body panels
- Carry out chassis and frame straightening using hydraulic pulling equipment where required
- Cut, fabricate, and replace damaged body sections and panels
- Perform MIG/TIG welding, metal fabrication, and brazing for structural repairs
- Execute surface preparation (filling, sanding, grinding, feather edging) prior to painting
- Ensure correct panel alignment, gaps, and fitment to manufacturer specifications
- Work closely with spray painters to achieve high-quality finishing standards
- Maintain tools, equipment, and observe workshop safety procedures
Requirements
- 5–7years proven experience as a Panel Beater in an automotive workshop
- Strong knowledge of vehicle body structure, chassis systems, and OEM repair standards
- Proficiency in welding, metal shaping, and use of body repair tools and equipment
- Ability to interpret damage reports and execute precise repairs
- High attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Technical or vocational certification is an added advantage.
Salary
₦200,000 – ₦250,000 Net pay.
