BuildGen Nigeria Limited, a Steel manufacturing company located at sango-ota, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Hydra Machine Operator

Location: Sanni Ota, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Hydra Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining hydra (hydraulic) machinery used for lifting, loading, and material handling within the factory.
• The role requires strong technical skill, safety awareness, and experience working in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate hydra machines for lifting, moving, and loading materials
• Ensure safe handling of heavy equipment and materials at all times
• Conduct daily inspection and basic maintenance of the machine
• Identify and report mechanical faults or issues promptly
• Follow production and operational instructions from supervisors
• Maintain accurate logs of machine usage and activities
• Adhere strictly to safety standards and company procedures
• Support general material handling and logistics within the factory.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

• Safe operation with zero or minimal incidents
• Machine uptime and operational efficiency
• Timeliness in material handling and movement
• Proper maintenance and reduced equipment downtime
• Compliance with safety and operational guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of SSCE / OND or relevant technical certification
• 3-5 years proven experience operating hydra or similar heavy-duty machinery
• Valid operator license/certification is an added advantage
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
