Job Description

• We are seeking a dedicated, honest, and customer-friendly individual to manage day-to-day operations of our patent medicine store.
• The successful candidate will be the face of Drugs Field Patent World and will play a key role in serving our community.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Sales & Dispensing: Sell over-the-counter (OTC) drugs and health products in line with PCN approved drug list for PPMVL holders
• Customer Care: Attend to clients politely, listen to their complaints, and recommend appropriate OTC medicines only
• Stock Management: Take inventory, receive new stock, arrange drugs properly, and monitor expiry dates
• Record Keeping: Maintain daily sales records, stock cards, and other records as required by law
• Store Maintenance: Keep the shop clean, organized, and presentable at all times
• Compliance: Adhere strictly to rules set by PCN and NAFDAC.
• Do not prescribe, dispense prescription-only medicines, or treat complex cases.
• Refer such clients to a hospital/pharmacist
• Reporting: Give weekly sales reports to the store owner/manager

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum Education: NCE / OND / HND / B.Sc
• Certification: Applicant should have a valid Patent and Proprietary Medicine Vendor License (PPMVL) OR be willing to obtain one immediately if hired.
• Possession of Orientation Certificate from PCN is a strong advantage
• Experience: 1+ years experience in a chemist/pharmacy/PPMV store preferred.
• Fresh applicants with PPMVL and good attitude will be considered
• Skills: Good communication skills in English and Hausa, basic arithmetic, neat handwriting, and basic computer/phone skills for record keeping
• Character: Should be honest, trustworthy, patient, and respectful. No history of drug abuse or crime
• Health: Should be physically and mentally fit, with no communicable diseases
• Age: 22 – 35 years
• Residency: Should reside within Gwallameji, Bauchi, Bauchi State

Salary
N30,000 - N50,000 per month.
