We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Payroll Officer

Location: VI, Lagos

Job Description

  • Accurately process monthly payroll within approved timelines.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records and salary information.
  • Calculate salaries, overtime, bonuses, allowances, deductions, and final settlements.
  • Reconcile payroll reports and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare payroll reports for management review and audit purposes.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of payroll information and employee records.
  • Monitor attendance, leave records, and overtime data for payroll processing.
  • Address employee inquiries related to payroll and resolve issues promptly.
  • Support payroll audits and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of payroll records.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and statutory regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll/HRIS systems.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and confidentiality management skills.
