GingerUp Nigeria Limited is an organic fruits and nuts company concerned about using healthy food to maintain and nourish the human body. The idea of GingerUp and GingerShot metamorphosed from a kitchen experiment in the process of finding a nutritional and healthy drink for an upwardly mobile family in Lagos while trying to avoid carbonated drinks.

We believe in promoting hygienically processed natural drinks that produce preventative antibodies and can boost the immune system against bacteria and viral infections. Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with stock broking experience to manage financial records, oversee inventory accounting, and support investment and securities-related transactions where required.
• The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong financial control across operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare periodic financial reports
• Manage inventory/stock accounting and reconciliation
• Monitor cost of goods, purchases, and stock valuation
• Handle payables, receivables, and bank reconciliations
• Support budgeting and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies
• Provide guidance on securities/stock-related transactions and documentation
• Use accounting software to maintain up-to-date records.

Requirements

• B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional certification (ICAN/ACCA) is an advantage
• 3–5 years’ accounting experience with exposure to stock broking/securities operations
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting and cost control
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• High level of accuracy and integrity.
