We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Officer

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting to: Managing Director

Job Summary

• The Finance Officer manages day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting,
• statutory compliance, and effective cost control.
• The role supports payroll, audits, and financial
• record-keeping, while working with Admin and Procurement to maintain efficient inventory,
• vendor management, and overall operational support.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable and payable, including invoicing and vendor payments
• Prepare audit schedules and support annual audits
• Generate weekly and monthly financial/activity reports
• Compute and remit statutory obligations (PAYE, WHT, VAT, ITF, Pension, etc.)
• Process payroll in collaboration with HR/Admin
• Maintain accurate bookkeeping, cash records, and financial software postings
• Reconcile company accounts and monitor income/expenditure
• Liaise with government agencies on statutory payments and compliance
• Oversee staff claims, advances, and cost control for operational efficiency
• Maintain asset register and inventory records (in collaboration with
• Admin/Procurement)
• Support procurement by validating costs (freight, clearing, delivery) and sourcing
• cost-effective options
• Collaborate with Admin/Procurement on inventory tracking, goods receipt
• documentation, and consumables management (shared drive)
• Support operations, order fulfillment, and tender/presentation preparation
• Oversee financial activities of sister companies
• Maintain confidentiality of all financial information

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–3 years' relevant experiencein a finance or accounting role
• Progress toward or membership ofICAN, ACCA, or equivalent is an added advantage.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 per month.
