We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Architect

Locations: Abuja and Kano

Job Summary

• The Architect is responsible for the design, development, and execution of architectural projects from concept to completion.
• The role involves creating innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and client requirements.
• The ideal candidate is both creative and technically sound, capable of translating ideas into practical design solutions and supporting project execution on-site where required.

Key Responsibilities
Architectural Design & Development:

• Develop architectural concepts, schematic designs, and detailed drawings
• Prepare presentation drawings, 3D visualizations, and design proposals
• Translate client briefs into functional and aesthetically sound designs
• Ensure designs align with company standards and project objectives.

Technical Documentation:

• Produce working drawings, construction details, and specifications
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of design documentation
• Review drawings to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
• Coordinate with consultants (structural, MEP, etc.).

Project Execution & Site Coordination:

• Participate in site visits and inspections
• Monitor construction progress to ensure adherence to design intent
• Resolve design-related issues on-site
• Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and contractors.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Attend client meetings and presentations
• Incorporate client feedback into design revisions
• Maintain professional communication with all stakeholders.

Compliance & Quality Assurance:

• Ensure all designs comply with regulatory requirements and approvals
• Maintain quality standards in all project deliverables
• Support documentation for approvals and permits.

Collaboration & Team Support:

• Work closely with internal teams (Studio Coordinator, Project Managers, etc.)
• Support junior architects and interns where required
• Contribute to a structured and efficient studio workflow.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent)
• 5 years relevant experience (for mid-level role; adjust as needed)
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, etc.)
• Strong design, visualization, and presentation skills
• Good understanding of construction methods and materials
• Knowledge of Nigerian building regulations is an advantage
• Master's Degree in Architecure is an added advantage.
