Job Title: Head Teacher
Location: Abuja
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day to day operations of the school and report directly to the director of the school
- Create strategic marketing plans to increase student enrolment and be active in school marketing and communications
- Manage faculty and other human resource personnel
- Conduct break even and sensitivity analysis to assess how school resources should be managed
- Implement policies to promote efficient use of resources
- Ensure the school remains a collaborative and friendly environment for staff and kids
- Be responsible for ensuring a positive working culture - this includes creating events and workshops for teacher training, staff bonding etc.
- Work with academic head to achieve the school's academic mission and vision.
- Manage the afterschool and holiday programme activities, including planning, organizing and marketing
- Develop innovative ways for efficient information management
Job Requirements
- At least Bachelor's degree in Education or Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a PGCE
- At least 3 years of experience in a British Curriculum School setting
- At least 3 years of managerial experience in a similar role, including marketing experience.
- Previous travel/exposure to the UK, US or Europe

- Exceptional organizational skills: ability to account for day to day operational expenses and materials used
- Ability to foster an amiable rapport with parents and address any issue that may arise

- Ability to research and recruit new teaching talents to the school
- Ability to research new innovative ways to make the school stand out in the competitive education environment.
