Job Summary

• We are seeking for a skilled and experienced Roughing Mill Pulpit Operator to join our rolling mill operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring the roughing mill pulpit to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient rolling operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor roughing mill pulpit/control panel during production
• Control rolling parameters to ensure smooth billet entry and proper rolling
• Coordinate activities with furnace, roughing mill, and downstream operators
• Monitor equipment performance and promptly report faults or abnormalities
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and production standards
• Maintain proper communication with maintenance and production teams 

Requirements

• SSCE, OND, or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience as a roughing mill pulpit or control operator in a rolling mill
• Good understanding of roughing mill operations and rolling processes
• Ability to monitor operating parameters and respond to process deviations
• Strong attention to safety, coordination, and communication
• Willingness to work shifts as required.
