Job Summary

• We are seeking for a competent and experienced Cold Shear Operator to join our rolling mill operations.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for operating cold shear equipment to cut finished materials to specified lengths while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate cold shear machines to cut bars/rods according to production requirements
• Set up and adjust shear equipment to achieve correct lengths and clean cuts
• Monitor product quality and report defects or abnormalities
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and housekeeping standards
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to meet output targets.

Requirements

• SSCE, OND, or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience operating cold shear machinery in a rolling mill environment
• Good understanding of cutting tolerances and quality standards
• Ability to read basic production instructions and measurements
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Willingness to work shifts as required.
