Job Title: Farm Security & Safety Officer
Location: Ogun
Role Overview
- The Farm Security & Safety Officer is responsible for protecting farm assets, ensuring staff safety, monitoring security systems, and enforcing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across all farm operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV systems and farm premises for security risks
- Control access to farm facilities and enforce entry protocols
- Conduct routine patrols of livestock, crop, and storage areas
- Ensure staff compliance with safety and security procedures
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and unusual activities
- Maintain incident logs and prepare daily/weekly reports
- Enforce HSE standards across all farm operations
- Support emergency response and risk prevention measures.
Requirements
- Prior experience in securityor safety roles
- Strong observation and reporting skills
- Discipline, integrity, and attention to detail
- Ability to handle incidents calmly and professionally
- Basic knowledge of safety or HSE practices (advantage)
- Intermediate computer literacy, including email communication, document preparation, and use of spreadsheets for reporting and record-keeping.
Work Environment
- Farm-based operational setting
- Indoor (control room/CCTV) and outdoor patrol duties
- Active, 24/7 operational awareness required.
Compensation & Growth
- Salary: N80,000 – N120,000 / month.
