Job Title: Project Lead

Location: Umuahia / Aba - Abia
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are looking for a practical, results-driven professional to support the setup and operation of a vegetable oil processing plant.
• This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in agro-processing, commodity trading, or production operations who is ready to take ownership and grow into a management position.
• The successful candidate will lead early-stage activities (market validation, sourcing, and setup) and transition into managing day-to-day operations once the business is established.

Key Responsibilities
Phase 1: Business Setup (0–3 months):

• Conduct basic market surveyand identify viable product opportunities
• Source and engage raw material suppliers (e.g., soybean, groundnut, palm kernel)
• Identify and build relationships with potential buyers
• Support site selection and general setup planning
• Assist in sourcing equipment and coordinating installation

Phase 2: Operations (Post-Setup):

• Oversee daily production and supervise staff
• Manage raw material procurement and inventory
• Coordinate sales and customer orders
• Monitor costs, output, and general performance
• Ensure smooth running of equipment and operations

Who We’re Looking For

• We welcome candidates with experience in any of the following areas:
  • Agro-processing (any crop or product)
  • Commodity trading or supply chain operations
  • Small factory or production supervision
  • Feed mill or related industries

Basic Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in operations, trading, or processing
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Report writing and basic knowledge of Microsoft Suite
• Ability to source materials, negotiate, and solve problems on the ground
• Willingness to be hands-on and take initiative
• Basic understanding of business costs and profitability
• Strong work ethic and accountability.

Salary
N70,000 - N150,000 / Month.
