St. Mary's Specialist Centre is an expert and pioneering centre in specialist urology services.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilties

• Sourcing and Talent Acquisition: Proactively find passive candidates through networking, residency programs, conferences, social media (LinkedIn, Indeed), and database searches.
• Candidate Screening: Review CVs, conduct phone screenings, and evaluate surgeon qualifications, specialized skills, and culture fit.
• Relationship Management: Develop long-term relationships with residents, fellows, and practicing surgeons to build a talent pipeline.
• Hiring Process Management: Coordinate interviews, site visits, and follow-up meetings between candidates and hiring committees.
• Negotiation and Closing: Assist in salary negotiations, benefits discussion, and contract execution, acting as a liaison between the candidate and the employer.
• Onboarding Support: Guide candidates through the credentialing, licensing, and onboarding process.
• Market Intelligence: Provide insights to leadership on compensation trends, demand for specialties, and recruitment competitiveness.
