Job Title: Human Resource Generalist

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to manage and support core HR functions.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HR systems, a solid understanding of modern HR practices, and a strong grasp of Nigerian labour laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes using HRIS platforms.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, generate HR reports, and ensure data integrity within HR systems.
  • Implement and continuously improve HR policies in line with updated HR best practices and organizational goals.
  • Ensure full compliance with Nigerian labour laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Drive performance management processes including goal setting, appraisals, feedback systems, and performance improvement plans.
  • Support learning and development initiatives aligned with business needs and employee growth.
  • Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures in a fair and compliant manner.
  • Monitor employee engagement and recommend strategies to improve workplace culture and retention.
  • Partner with management to provide HR insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs, benefits administration, and other HR operational activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4years proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
  • Practical experience with HRIS and HR data management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Salary
N350,000 - N400,000 monthly.
