We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Baker

Location: GRA, Ikeja - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Expected timeline to fill the role(s): Immediately

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a talented Baker to prepare fresh bread, pastries, and baked goods daily. The ideal candidate will have experience in baking techniques, dough preparation, and oven handling, with attention to detail in quality and presentation. You should be passionate about baking and able to maintain consistency in production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake bread products according to standardized recipes and production schedules.
  • Baking of baguette bread, wheat bread, sour dough bread e.t.c
  • Mix, Knead dough manually or using machines,ferment,proof and bake dough to achieve consistent quality.
  • Monitor baking temperature,timing and product appearance.
  • Ensure freshness, taste, and presentation meet company standards
  • Measure ingredients accurately and follow portion control guidelines.
  • Work closely with kitchen and production teams to meet daily demand.
  • Marinating cleanliness and organization of baking stations
  • Assist in developing new bread varieties when required

Working days and hours:

  • Monday to Friday - 8:30 to 8:00 pm
  • Saturday - 10 am to 8:00 pm
  • Sunday- 11:30am to 8:00 pm
  • (You get TWO days off in a week from Monday to Friday )

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an HND qualification with 2-3 years experience as a baker , preferably bread focus
  • Strong knowledge of bread making techniques and fermentation processes
  • Attention to detail and consistency in product quality
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Culinary or baking certification is an added advantage.
  • Experience in restaurant or commercial bakery production.
  • Knowledge bribing baking just bread
  • Knowledge of different bread styles and dough handling
