Job Title: Gardener

Job Summary

• The Gardener is responsible for maintaining the beauty, health, and cleanliness of outdoor spaces, including lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas.
• This role involves planting, watering, pruning, and ensuring proper care of plants and greenery.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain lawns by mowing, edging, and fertilizing.
• Plant flowers, trees, shrubs, and other plants.
• Water plants regularly and ensure proper irrigation.
• Prune and trim trees, hedges, and shrubs.
• Remove weeds and control pests using safe methods.
• Apply fertilizers and soil conditioners as needed.
• Keep garden areas clean and free of debris.
• Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment.
• Monitor plant health and report any issues.
• Assist in landscaping projects when required.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience as a gardener or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of plant care, soil types, and pest control.
• Ability to use gardening tools and equipment safely.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques.
• Time management and reliability.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
