Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist

Role Summary

• We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team and support accurate and timely diagnostic services.
• The Medical Laboratory Scientist will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, analyzing results, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance in all diagnostic procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests in areas such as hematology, microbiology, chemistry, and serology
• Analyze test results and ensure accurate documentation and reporting
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality
• Adhere to quality control procedures and laboratory safety standards
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
• Manage laboratory inventory, including reagents and consumables
• Maintain proper records of tests, results, and laboratory activities
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment
• Ensure proper sample collection, handling, and storage procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related fields
• Valid practicing license (e.g., MLSCN)
• 2 - 4 years relevant work experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills
• Knowledge of laboratory quality standards and safety procedures
• Proficiency in laboratory equipment and systems
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
