We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Zonal Internal Auditor

Locations: Ikeja - Lagos, Enugu, Kogi, and Nasarawa
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

• We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Internal Auditors to support audit operations across our branch network. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and effective risk management practices within assigned zones.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and spot audit exercises across branches within the assigned zone
• Review operational processes to ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards
• Identify control gaps, risk exposures, and process inefficiencies
• Prepare detailed audit reports and provide actionable recommendations
• Monitor implementation of audit recommendations and follow up on unresolved issues
• Support fraud investigation and risk assessment activities where required
• Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with 3–5 years’ experience in Internal Audit, preferably in the banking or financial services sector
• Strong knowledge of audit processes, internal controls, and risk management
• Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CIA) is an added advantage
• Excellent analytical, report writing, and communication skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
• Willingness to travel within assigned zones
