Job Title: Inventory Officer

Location: Apo / Gudu, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

  • We are seeking a physically fit and detail-oriented Inventory Officer to join our pharmacy unit.
  • This role is a hybrid of technical inventory management and physical logistics.
  • You will be responsible for the end-to-end flow of medical goods—from unloading heavy shipments to ensuring the right products reach our customers’ doors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Logistics & Handling: Receiving large shipments, offloading cartons, and moving heavy stock to the storage facility.
  • Inventory Control: Monitoring stock levels, performing regular audits, and managing "First Expired, First Out" (FEFO) protocols.
  • Shelving & Merchandising: Organizing pharmaceutical products efficiently and maintaining a clean, professional display.
  • Delivery Coordination: Assisting in the accurate picking, packing, and timely delivery of orders to customers.
  • Documentation: Maintaining precise records of stock inflows, outflows, and any damaged or expired goods.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum of a Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Health Sciences, or a related medical field.
  • Experience: Proven experience managing inventory specifically within a pharmacy or medical supply environment.
  • Physical Ability: Must be physically strong and capable of frequently lifting and carrying heavy cartons and crates.
  • Technical Skill: Proficiency in basic inventory software or Microsoft Excel.
  • Competencies: High level of integrity, strong organizational skills, and a "can-do" attitude toward manual tasks.
  • Must reside in or around Apo / Gudu.
