We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a motivated Business Development Executive to help grow our client base and drive revenue. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across both private and commercial customer segments.
  • Develop and execute a business development strategy in line with the company’s sales and revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, including contractors, property developers, real estate firms, and retail distributors.
  • Conduct market research to track competitor activity, pricing trends, and emerging customer needs.
  • Prepare and present business proposals and product offerings to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements in accordance with the company’s pricing and credit policies.
  • Coordinate with the Sales and Marketing team to ensure leads are followed up and converted effectively.
  • Represent the company at trade exhibitions, industry events, and client meetings.
  • Provide the Business Manager with regular updates on pipeline status, deals closed, and market intelligence.
  • Support the development of new product lines or distribution channels as directed.
  • Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Business Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5–7 years’ experience in business development or sales (energy/technical sector preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the Lagos market
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Salary
N350,000 per month.
