Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced Process Engineer to drive optimization of process, energy, and quality performance in our cement plant.
  • The role focuses on continuous improvement, process data analysis, and closing performance gaps while ensuring full compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Optimize cement manufacturing process performance (quarry to cement grinding).
  • Lead pyro-process optimization (kiln, preheater, calciner).
  • Improve energy efficiency and reduce production costs.
  • Analyze process data and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct process audits and heat & mass balance analysis.
  • Optimize Alternative Fuels & Raw materials (AFR) and support decarbonization.
  • Ensure process stability and product quality improvement.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and CCR operators.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international HSE standards.

Required Profile
Education:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Chemical, Process, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Cement specialization is a strong advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years in cement process engineering.
  • Proven expertise in:
    • Pyro-process (kiln, preheater, calciner).
    • Vertical grinding mills.
    • Energy optimization.
    • AFR and decarbonization.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of cement manufacturing process
  • Hands-on experience with key equipment (kiln, mills, AFR systems, material handling)
  • Proven track record in process optimization and troubleshooting
  • Expertise in simulation tools and root cause analysis
  • Strong energy efficiency and waste reduction knowledge
  • Ability to ensure product quality and environmental compliance
  • Deep understanding of HSE regulations
  • Experience in process audits and thermal balance
  • Monitoring and improving process & energy KPIs
  • Knowledge of SOPs and reporting standards
  • Openness to advanced technologies (e.g., AI-based optimization).
