Job Title: Procurement Manager

Job Summary
- Manage all procurement activities,from vendor sourcing through to purchase order management and delivery — ensuring best value, quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the approved vendor list and vendor pre-qualification process
- Lead competitive tendering processes for materials, plant and services
- Negotiate framework agreements and long-term supply contracts
- Manage purchase order placement, tracking and expediting
- Ensure all procurement complies with company policies and ethical sourcing standards
- Analyse market pricing and maintain Nigerian construction material rate schedules
- Coordinate with project teams on procurement plans and material delivery schedules
- Manage procurement KPIs and produce monthly management reports
- Handle supplier disputes, quality rejections and contractual claims
- Champion procurement digitalisation and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree with 10 – 12 years procurement experience, preferably in construction or engineering in Nigeria.
- At least 5 years managing a procurement team
- Strong knowledge of the Nigerian construction supply chain and material markets
- Experience with ERP procurement modules: SAP, Oracle or equivalent
- Track record of achieving measurable cost savings through strategic procurement
