We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Executive - Bakery

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to drive sales and expand the customer base for our bakery products.
  • The ideal candidate must have proven hands-on sales experience and will be responsible for promoting products, securing new clients, and maintaining strong customer relationships to achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for bakery products
  • Promote and sell products (bread, pastries, cakes, etc.) to retailers, distributors, and direct customers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales targets
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs
  • Negotiate prices, contracts, and supply terms with clients
  • Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery
  • Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback
  • Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate customer records.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum of 4-7years proven experience in sales, preferably in bakery or FMCG sector (mandatory)
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to meet targets and work under pressure
  • Good knowledge of market dynamics and customer management
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in food sales or distribution networks
  • Existing client base within retail, hospitality, or food service industry
  • Knowledge of branding and product promotion strategies
  • Familiarity with CRM tools or sales tracking systems.

Additional Requirements:

  • High level of energy, initiative, and self-motivation
  • Professional appearance and strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory
  • Valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
