Job Description
- We are seeking an exceptional and commercially driven professional to lead XEJet Express, our fast-growing express and regional airline business in Nigeria.
- This is a strategic leadership role for a results-oriented executive with proven experience in airline operations, commercial growth, and revenue optimization.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for driving profitability, expanding market presence, and positioning XEJet Express as a leading player in the value/express aviation segment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall business strategy and growth agenda for XEJet Express
- Drive passenger revenue through route expansion, pricing optimization, and improved load factors
- Develop ancillary revenue streams and strengthen commercial partnerships
- Oversee operational performance, efficiency, and customer experience
- Manage financial targets, budgets, and profitability metrics
- Ensure regulatory compliance, safety standards, and stakeholder engagement
- Build and lead a high-performing cross-functional team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Management, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- Minimum of 7–10 years’ aviation industry experience
- At least 3–5 years in a senior leadership capacity
- Strong background in airline commercial management, route development, and revenue generation
- Solid understanding of low-cost/express airline business models
- In-depth knowledge of NCAA regulations and international aviation standards
