Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially driven leader to head our Helicopter Operations business in Nigeria.
  • This role is ideal for a strategic executive with strong expertise in aviation, business development, and specialized helicopter services.
  • The successful candidate will drive revenue growth, secure high-value contracts, and ensure operational excellence across sectors such as oil & gas, offshore logistics, charter services, MEDEVAC, tourism, and government operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute growth strategies for helicopter operations
  • Secure long-term contracts in oil & gas, offshore transfers, and government services
  • Expand charter, tourism, and specialized mission services
  • Oversee operational performance, fleet utilization, and safety compliance
  • Lead financial planning, profitability management, and cost optimization
  • Build strong relationships with clients, regulators, and industry stakeholders
  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team across operations and commercial functions

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in aviation, with strong exposure to helicopter/rotary-wing operations
  • Proven success in revenue generation and contract acquisition
  • Strong understanding of NCAA regulations, ICAO standards, and helicopter operational requirements
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing complex aviation operations
  • Commercial acumen with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
