We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Benin, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and certified Accountant with proven experience in financial management, reporting, and compliance.
  • The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper cash flow management Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with Nigerian financial regulations and tax laws Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
  • Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits Monitor financial transactions and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is required
  • 3–5 years relevant accounting experience Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in oil & gas or construction industry Knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Salary
₦250,000 – ₦350,000 (Based on experience).
