Job Title: Accountant 

Locations: Abuja and Ota - Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in the manufacturing sector.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting business operations through accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Monitor production costs, inventory, and cost accounting processes
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies
• Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions

Requirements / Qualifications

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the manufacturing sector (compulsory)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with cost accounting and inventory management
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Must have experience from a Mannufacturing company.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Understanding of tax regulations and compliance
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Salary
N250,000 per month.
