We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chinese / Mandarin Translator

Location: Benin City, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time  (Onsite)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Chinese/Mandarin Translator to support communication between Chinese-speaking and English-speaking teams.
• The ideal candidate will be willing to reside onsite in Benin City and work closely with staff to ensure accurate and effective translation in both verbal and written communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide accurate interpretation between Mandarin and English during meetings, site activities, and daily operations
• Translate documents, reports, emails, and technical materials as required
• Facilitate smooth communication between Chinese expatriates and local staff
• Support administrative and operational teams with language-related tasks
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Assist in bridging cultural and communication gaps within the organization

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 4-5 years of experience.
• Proven fluency in Mandarin (Chinese) and English (spoken and written)
• Prior experience as a translator or interpreter is highly preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, structured environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to reside onsite in company-provided accommodation
• Professional, reliable, and culturally adaptable.
