We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Maintenance Lead

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Maintenance Lead is responsible for overseeing all maintenance operations, ensuring the reliability, availability, and efficiency of equipment and facilities.
  • The role involves planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance, minimizing downtime, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting operational continuity within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance plans
  • Schedule and supervise daily maintenance activities
  • Ensure timely repair and servicing of all equipment and machinery
  • Minimize equipment downtime and optimize asset performance

Equipment Reliability & Troubleshooting:

  • Monitor equipment performance and identify potential failures
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues
  • Ensure proper maintenance of rotating and static equipment (pumps, compressors, turbines, etc.)
  • Implement reliability-centered maintenance strategies

Asset & Inventory Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of equipment history and maintenance activities
  • Manage spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components
  • Coordinate procurement of maintenance materials and tools
  • Optimize inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking

Safety & Compliance Management:

  • Ensure compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies
  • Enforce safe work practices and use of PPE among team members
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company procedures
  • Participate in audits, inspections, and incident investigations

Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Track and report maintenance KPIs
  • Prepare maintenance reports and documentation
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering field
  • 7–10 years of experience in maintenance within the oil & gas or EPIC industry
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and maintenance practices
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
