We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Ogba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

• Perform basic inspections required on machine routinely
• Perform preventive or break down maintenance and repair in a safe, manner in line with Evans TPM standard procedures.
• Install and /or replaces new or reconditioned repair part.
• Perform basic trouble shooting on mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic system.
• Keeping up to date inventing of mechanical spare.
• Cleaning and lubricating gears, shaft, bearings and other machinery part and documenting all operations.
• Assisting in overall improvement programme of all company.
• Regulating downtime by enlightening production staff on standard preventive maintenance methods and monitoring the compliance.
• Assist the Plant Manager

Requirements

• Education: Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in themanufacturing industry(e.g.Soap industry).
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyze mechanical failures, production bottlenecks, or quality issues; develop and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to design specifications, equipment maintenance, process documentation, and safety compliance to minimize errors and downtime.
