Finance Officer at HOP Mobile Transport

Hop Mobile Transport, a ride-hailing company, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Officer

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including income, expenses, and general ledger entries
• Monitor daily revenue from rides, driver remittances, and platform transactions
• Reconcile bank statements, wallets, and payment gateways
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Ensure timely invoicing and follow-up on outstanding payments
• Track operational costs such as fuel, maintenance, driver incentives, and commissions
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory deductions, and financial policies
• Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations
• Monitor cash flow and advise management on financial health
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls
• Collaborate with operations and IT teams for accurate financial data integration requirement

Requirements & Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant experience (preferably in transport, logistics, or fintech)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with payment platforms and digital financial systems proximity to the island is an added advantage.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
