Job Title: Freight Agent (Sales-Driven Role)
Locations: Ikeja, Ketu, Magodo - Lagos
Job Summary
- This is a sales-first role.
- We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are driven by closing deals, hitting targets, and earning commission.
- As a Freight Agent, your primary focus will be winning new business, building client relationships, and generating revenue.
- If you enjoy cold calling, negotiating, and turning conversations into deals, this role offers strong earning potential in a fast-moving industry.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Prospect and generate new business through high-volume outbound calls.
- Build a pipeline of shippers and consistently close new accounts.
- Negotiate pricing and secure profitable freight deals.
- Develop long-term customer relationships to drive repeat business.
- Manage shipments and ensure successful delivery (supporting your sales).
- Stay organized and track activity using CRM/TMS systems.

Requirements

- Basic computer skills (CRM systems, email, Excel).
Education:
- OND, Secondary School Diploma or WAEC / NECO (required).
- Degree in Business, Sales, Logistics, or related field (a plus, not required).
Preferred (Not Required):
- B2B sales experience.
- Freight agency, logistics, or trucking background.
- Familiarity with load boards.
