We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Method Statements, Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Plans, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure project quality requirements are clearly defined and achieved.
• Conduct material inspections and reviews, identifying defects or non-conformances, and ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable industry standards such as International Organization for Standardization (ISO), ASTM International (ASTM), and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), as well as project-specific specifications.
• Collaborate with contractors, and project stakeholders to investigate and resolve quality-related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a related field is advantageous
• Professional certifications in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO standards) are a pluse.
• Proficiency in Quality Control and Inspection techniques
• Experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Management practices
• Strong ability in Quality Auditing with attention to detail
• Knowledge of applicable quality standards and regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
