Role Overview

  • We are seeking an Operations Team Lead to oversee and coordinate daily logistics operations.
  • This role is ideal for someone who can manage teams, optimize processes, ensure compliance, and keep operations running efficiently across freight, clearance, haulage, and warehousing.
  • You will be a key point of coordination, driving performance, and ensuring service delivery meets company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end logistics operations across air freight, sea freight, customs clearance, haulage, and warehousing.
  • Supervise and coordinate operations staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to performance standards.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, service delivery, and cost management.
  • Monitor shipment life cycles and ensure timely execution from origin to final delivery.
  • Establish and enforce operational policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Review operational reports and KPIs to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement.
  • Resolve escalated operational issues and ensure minimal disruption to service.
  • Collaborate with finance, sales, and customer service teams to align operations with business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to build a high-performing operations unit.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in logistics/supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong experience managing end-to-end logistics operations.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage performance, and drive operational efficiency.
  • Experience developing SOPs, KPIs, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
  • Proficiency in logistics systems, reporting tools, and operational dashboards.
