Job Title: Research & Development Partner (Full Stack Software Engineer)

Locations: Abuja; Warri, Delta & Makurdi, Benue
Employment Type: Freelance remote / hybrid work with once in a week in-person

About the Role

• We are looking for a versatile and technically proficient Information Technologist to support the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT systems and digital infrastructure.
• The ideal candidate combines strong problem-solving abilities with a solid foundation in software development, data analysis, and emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

• Support software development, testing, and deployment processes
• Analyze system requirements and propose technology-driven solutions
• Support data management, security, and compliance initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Industrial Mathematics, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• Postgraduate qualification is advantageous but optional. Interest and/or knowledge in Artificial Intelligence
• Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and databases
• Basic proficiency in at least one programming language e.g. Python
• Skills in developing websites and web application development
• Familiarity with operating systems (Windows) and cloud platforms is an advantage
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals
• Age: 21 – 50 (your attitude and skills are more important to us and candidates who already have a job can still apply and keep this as a side support especially when they are passionate about research).
